HV Electrical Supervisor
VentiaDistribution Supervisor
We're looking for an experienced Distribution Supervisor to lead field crews delivering electrical distribution and infrastructure projects across Canterbury.
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance, construction, fault response, and project work while supporting a high-performing team of Linespeople, Cable Jointers, Technicians, and Electrical Fitters.
About the Role
- Lead and supervise distribution field crews across multiple work sites
- Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Coordinate daily operations, resources, contractors, and equipment
- Support the delivery of maintenance, capital works, and network projects
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Champion a strong health, safety, quality, and environmental culture
About You
- NZ Electrical Registration
- Proven experience in electricity distribution, utilities, or power infrastructure
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Sound knowledge of industry safety requirements and compliance standards
- Experience coordinating field-based teams and contractors
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Full Class 1 Driver Licence
